West Chester veterinary care!

We are located in the Goshen Village Shopping center just outside the borough of West Chester. The veterinary hospital first opened in 1995 and has recently been purchased by Dr. Kelley Collins in 2019. We are a privately owned hospital so we pride ourselves on knowing our clients and patients and giving them as much time as needed for their appointments. Many of our staff have been working here for years and love to see you and your pet’s smiling faces and wagging tails (even if your pup’s tail only wags after they get their treat after their appointment).

Veterinary Technician

Lee Ann McDermott

Lee Ann joined the veterinary field in 2020 after getting laid off from an office job during Covid. She realized life is short and unpredictable so why not go after your dream job. Lee Ann knew she wanted to work with animals after getting her first hamster, Wizard, when she was 8 years old. Since 2020, Lee Ann has worked in emergency, general practice, and has even spent a summer volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center. Lee Ann hopes to expand her career more into wildlife and conservation so she can help repopulate endangered species. In the hospital you can usually find Lee Ann sneaking pets extra treats, cuddling all the cats (especially the fat ones), or boosting the hospital's morale with a good laugh. When Lee Ann isn't working, she enjoys her time with her daughter, her 2 cats; Jack and Jill, enjoying nature, or working on an art project.

Gianna Munro

Hello! I’m Gianna, one of the receptionists. I love all animals, especially the dogs and cats we care for. My dog’s name is Dasher and even though he’s an old man now he’ll always be my baby. A goal on my bucket list is to go cage diving with sharks on an island. My biggest fear is getting swallowed by a whale!

Joan Chain

Since I was three horses have stolen my heart. To this day Chavi (23 years old) and Scotti (15 years old) continue to teach me about life’s challenges. I still ride and compete in dressage. Welsh Corgis had been by my side for 38 years. To date 4 gray feline personalities permeate our home. They have been known to hang out with our red-footed tortoise, and tolerate our other three.
Continuing to educate myself and take on new challenges keeps me young at heart. Meanwhile, my obsession with health and nutrition continue to be my plan to live long while trying to outlive my tortoise!
Veterinary Technician

Shelley LeMarquand

Hi, I'm Shelley! I am a native of West Chester, and have lived here my whole life! I have been married for over 25 wonderful years, and have an amazing daughter who has followed my footsteps into the field of veterinary Medicine!
After spending many years in emergency and specialty veterinary medicine, I am thrilled to call East Goshen Veterinary Center home! I started here part- time in October of 2023 doing urgent care, and now I am happily working full time where I get to know and build a relationship with you and your babies! I truly love each and every patient and treat them like my own! I am level 3 Fear Free certified, and I strive to make each and every visit here with us as stress free as possible!
My family and I have been involved in rescue for many years, and have fostered many dogs to get them ready for their forever homes. It is truly the hardest thing to let them go, but the most rewarding experience to see them flourish and move on to a great life.
In my spare time, you can find me crocheting, reading, or taking care of my 5 dogs, 4 cats, 2 snakes, 2 crested geckos and a tarantula! I look forward to meeting you!
Practice Manager

Krystal Donahue

I have been in the Veterinary Field for over 15 years. I started out working as a Technician and have over the years worked both in Emergency Medicine and General Practice. I have a soft spot for working dogs! I took over as Practice Manager for EGVC in April of 2024. When I'm not at work, I spend the rest of my time with my husband, Jeff and daughter, Evelyn, usually at a softball field. We have just an “ok” Great Dane named Vandal, a mean cat named Ariel, and two snakes; Powder and Indiana.
